the easiest guide to booking your next outing at Somewhere Studio!

General

  • Check-In.

    Please note that we may not always be present at the facility; therefore, check-in is self-guided. You will receive a personalized 4-digit code to access the door. This code will be activated 15 minutes prior to your scheduled booking time and will remain active for 15 minutes after your designated end time.

  • Check-Out.

    Check-out will occur at the time indicated on your booking. Kindly dispose of any trash and return all items to their original positions. To lock the facility you will push the red button, which will securely lock the door upon your departure.

  • Studio Space

    The entire space is included in your reservation. If you require access to our boudoir setup or any props that are not already on display, please inform us in your booking email.

  • Parking.

    Street parking is available for your and your clients at the front of the building on the street (Pecan Street); please ensure that you do not obstruct access to other businesses.

  • Loading-In, Loading-Out.

    If you require additional space for bringing items in and out of the studio, we have a garage door located at the back that opens directly into the area. This door can be operated using the remote control located on the right side of the garage door. Please ensure that the garage door is fully closed when you leave.

  • Cyc Walls.

    Our cyc walls have a hollow curve, so please be mindful of this while using the studio and avoid walking on or setting props against them. Any damages to the wall will incur a damage fee.

  • Restrooms.

    We have two restrooms at the studio, both of which are gender-neutral.

  • Pets.

    You are welcome to bring your pets! No pets are allowed on any of the furniture. Please note that there is a $20 pet fee that can be added to your booking. In the event of any damage, additional fees may apply. Please be aware that failure to comply with our pet policy will result in a $50 fee.

  • Film Production/Audio Recording.

    While you are encouraged to film and record audio in the studio, please note that we do not operate as a film studio. The studio is not equipped with rigging, scaffolding, or dedicated sound equipment. Although we are located in a quiet area, there are neighboring businesses, and we cannot guarantee consistent noise levels for audio recording.

  • Privacy.

    While there is a slight tint to the garage doors, visibility into the building is still possible. Please take this into consideration for outfit changes, intimate shoots, and similar circumstances.

  • Lighting.

    We have natural lighting guides for both the east and west sides of the studio available on our homepage. Please refer to these guides for the most up-to-date lighting information for the current season.

  • Food/Beverage.

    We have a kitchenette available for your use during your booking. Please feel free to enjoy any refreshments we have in the fridge, as well as coffee or tea. You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks.

  • Prohibited Items.

    Certain items are prohibited in the studio, including gaff tape, confetti, glitter, silly string, nails, staples, glues, screws, tacks, and similar materials on the walls, ceilings, or floors. Additionally, creating holes in the walls, partitions, ceilings, or floors is not permitted.

Scheduling

  • One Hour Minimum.

    We require a minimum booking of one hour for any use of the studio.

  • Booking Timeframe.

    Please ensure that load-in, setup, clean-up, reset, and load-out occur within your designated booking timeframe. We kindly ask you to plan accordingly or contact us to request additional time if needed.

  • Additional Studio Time.

    If you require additional time, please feel free to reach out to us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We understand that unexpected situations can arise.

  • Rescheduling/Cancellation.

    Bookings may be rescheduled up to 48 HOURS prior to the scheduled time at no additional charge.

    Bookings may be cancelled up to 72 HOURS in advance without incurring any fees.

    Cancellations or rescheduling requests made outside of these timeframes will result in the client being responsible for the full payment of the Usage Fee.

  • Availability.

    You may book up to 60 days in advance. If you require a reservation further out, please contact us directly, and we will assist you in making those arrangements.
